About Heike Park Equine
Heike Park is located in Brandy Creek, Victoria. Our amazing facilities include a stable block with soft rubber lined stables, tack room, undercover tie ups, undercover hot water wash bay, large sand yards, various size paddocks (half with shelters), a round yard, 60m x 20m Olympic size indoor sand and fibre arena with undercover viewing area and lights, horse safe fencing, onsite office/retail facility and a Guests cottage.
Indoor Arena
The has been designed and built withthe utmost care and attention. It an an Olympic size 60m x 20m sand and fibre surface, with an ebb and flow watering system, constructed by Grand Ridge Arena's. The surface rides extremely well and is designed to support a performance horse's wellbeing via the perfect balance between a firm and even surface to maintain healthy ligaments and a soft cushioning fibre for joint support. This results in an international standard of surface, perfect for even a top level equine athlete, performing strenuous moments at FEI level, to train on regularly and perfect for the young horse to get the best possbile start, free from injury.
The luxury of the roof means in can be used in all weathers and the comprehensive lighting system means riding after dark is safe and easy.
Clinics
It is important to us to share knowledge and create community via clinics that enable local people to access top level instructors. Our resident instrcutor is Clare Porz, FEI dressage rider and an extremely experienced and supportvie coach. Clare visits Heike Park approximatley once a week throughout the year and is available for lessons, on your own horse, to the public. Please contact us for more details.
If you are looking for a venue for a clinic please reach out to discuss suitability. We do have the ability to host international instructors with our interior designed, 2 bedroom, spacious cottage onsite. We also believe it's very important to support local clubs at grass roots level. If your club is rained out and is looking for a cost effective undercover venue for these situations please feel free to contact us to discuss your requirements. We are often able to accomodate last minute requests and we do offer subsidised/lower rates for local clubs to support local riders.
We are able to host Dressage and Poles clinics, however due to the specialist construction of our facilities we are not able to facilitate showjumping at Heike Park.
Guest Cottage
Heike Park has a renovated and interior designed 2 bedroom Guest Cottage on site. The cottage is available for visiting instructors and is self contained with seperate entracne and parking, It is extremely comfortable and well presented space, with top of the line beds and matresses, televisions and internet available.
It can also be used for photoshoots as a staging area or dressing area. It features 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, an open plan living area with wood burning fire, heating and airconditioning, and a small kitchen with fridge, microwave and tea and coffee facilities.
It is not able to be rented or booked seperately from the other facilities at the Park.
Rehabilitation
Heike Park Equine has tracks, sandyards, stables and a round yard which provide appropriate settings and surfaces for rehabilitation from a number of injury types. We work with top equine veterinarians, an excellent master farrier and have round the clock care available, with camera's veiwing each stable.
Our stable rubber is 28mm thick and us designed for optimum comfort. We have limited places avaiable to rehabilitation so contact us to see if we can assist with your issue.
